Online Conference Event: Online Education to Support Parents during the COVID-19 Pandemic
The past year has been marked by numerous changes, especially in the field of education, which had to adapt to challenging new circumstances. Pregnant families were not able to attend traditional, live antenatal courses and in response, Roda – Parents in Action developed an e-course for pregnant families with the support of UNICEF Office in Croatia in collaboration with the World Bank. Within a few months the course became an e-learning platform and grew to include three stand-alone courses. Families in Croatia have recognised the value and quality of the courses and by the end of 2020, one in every five pregnant families in Croatia had attended at least one of Roda’s e-courses. The lessons learned will be presented at our online conference.
