Soft Skills training in Prague - Wings for Roda 2nd mobility course
The training Soft Skills for Strong Teachers in Erasmus+ KA1 project Wings for Roda
As part of the #Erasmus+ KA-1 project of #WingsForRoda, Roda's employees attended the Soft Skills for Strong Teachers training in Prague from April 24 to 29, 2023.
Together with other participants from France, Greece, Slovakia, Spain, and Poland, we participated in a series of practical exercises through which we acquired new knowledge about different skills that we do not gain through formal education but through informal forms of learning, when we leave our comfort zone.
Problem-solving, teamwork, receiving and giving feedback, leadership techniques, communication techniques, motivating, and paying attention, are just some of the topics from this excellent education.
The education was practical, including exercises through which we learned about soft skills interestingly and dynamically. The head of education, Bára Rodi, created workshops through which we learned about soft skills while having fun and actively participating in different exercises. Bára is a doctor by profession and works as a doctor part of the time, as well as the leader of soft skills training, which she leads brilliantly and naturally in an international environment. In an excellent balance of practical work, outdoor activities, lectures, analysis of video content, and other activities, we connected with other participants and acquired knowledge about soft skills in teamwork.
Education left us enough free time to meet Prague's streets, culture, and people. The weather was perfect, and we enjoyed the experience of student ease of existence.
