Handling Stress and Avoiding Burnout training - Wings for Roda 1st mobility course
Handling Stress and Avoiding Burnout training in Erasmus+ KA1 project Wings for Roda
From 27 to 31 March 2023, we participated in the "Handling Stress and Avoiding Burnout" training in Prague, Czech Republic, which was organized by the Dorea Educational Institute as part of the ERASMUS+ staff mobility training course.
Our journey started on Sunday 3/26 by plane Zagreb - Vienna - Prague. We landed in Prague in the afternoon and checked into the hotel.
The first day of the program was planned for meeting the other participants and getting to know the city. It was highlighted by a specific weather in which snowflakes alternated with short periods of sun and cold wind. After a guided tour of the main sights of Prague and the words of our guide "The most beautiful city in the world", we headed to the organized welcome dinner where we got to know the other participants even better with Czech beer and a delicious dinner.
The participants came from Finland, Bulgaria, Denmark, Poland, Hungary and the two of us from Croatia.
The training started on Tuesday and lasted until Friday, from 9 am to 2 pm (total of 25 hours), and was organised in the pleasant space of Pracovna Praha.
The leader of the training is the wonderful Jennifer Nevidal Wilde, who from the very beginning created a pleasant atmosphere for learning new information.
Within this program, we learned a lot of useful information on stress, solved various tests about our own stress level, as well as adopted holistic techniques to minimize stress, deal with it and prevent burnout.
In an informal conversation with the other participants from other countries, we had the opportunity to see how cultural diversity, social environment, different business and private circumstances have different effects on a personal level while talking about the same topic.
This was a valuable experience that enriched us with valuable knowledge, new acquaintances and created a wonderful memory.
Thank you RODA!
