First Erasmus+ Staff Training Held in Zagreb
The past seven days have been a whirlwind of preparations and learning during our first Erasmus+ project staff training, held in Zagreb with partners Roda from Croatia, Aperio from the Czech Republic and Indo Anai from Slovenia.
At this first of two trainings, the Czech partners facilitated and led a workshop on curriculum development helping us to create a roatia and Slovenia need? What is available to them and how can we "fill the gaps" between these two things? The goal of the process was to create a program for our region, taking into consideration our unique circumstances, which are very different from common American programs that are used by others.
At the end of four very intense days, we prepared a detailed plan on conducting a pilot program for childbirth educators. Collaborators included psychologists, adult education experts, midwives, breastfeeding consultants, experienced childbirth educators from all three of our partner countries.
We're excited for the first generation training, which is planned to begin this summer.
