Contribute to an Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign to publish storybook for families who have experienced medically assisted reproduction.
Since July, a team of volunteers from the Medically Assisted Fertility project at Roda - Parents in Action have been working on first ever storybook on medically assisted fertility in Croatia and the region, written for children who were born after MAR and their friends. The story has been written, and it's time to share it with MAR families and their loved ones.
To produce and print 500 copies of The Stork Who Needed Help, a portion of which will be donated to libraries and kindergartens, we need to raise 4850 USD in our Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign.
Support our volunteers' hard work by contributing to the campaign to create the first Croatian children's book taht describes how MAR babies came into this world to children in a fun and relatable way.
When we teach children that there are many ways to become a parent, they understand and accept it early on. In doing this we empower them to deal with challenges they may encounter when discussing MAR with friends. By teaching them that they came into this world in a different, but equally miraculous way, we also teach them that it is ok to be different and to accept the differnces we experience in others.
This campaign was prepared by Roda's volunteers, BLANK-incubator and Maja Benčić aka Fritula. We are especially proud that Robert Veriga, the first IVF baby in Croatia (and 7th in the world!) is a campaign supporter.
